As outdoor enthusiasts, we feel a special connection to the land and resources that we all love and share. Stewardship for the care of those resources is an active endeavor that we all must share in. Our mission at Nature's Closet includes grassroots efforts to reduce our impact on the environment and to share information with our customers about sustainable living and business practices. Nature's Closet is itself a model for these principles. Our storefront uses recycled plastic molding; Our store interior utilizes reclaimed and sustainable wood for our sales counter, fixtures and doorways; The store carpeting is recyclable; The bathroom linoleum is made from a combination of flax, ground limestone and jute fiber backing, and we maintained the balance of the space in it's original, raw form. We also choose to use recycled materials for our shopping bags, paper towels and trash bags. You too can participate to help implement lasting environmental change for our planet.
